State and federal guidelines

The laws pertaining to electronic waste disposal vary greatly by state and by country. Wikipedia is a good resource for locating the relevant regulations by state:

While most states do not have stringent e-waste disposal laws, the federal government does require that all federal agencies use electronics recyclers certified to in either R2 or e-Stewards. In order for your organization to guarantee compliance on a national scale, it is recommended that you abide by the same policy when choosing a disposal partner. More information on this topic can be found on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) website:

DMD guarantees that electronic waste will be processed in accordance with all state and federal laws.
